ABOUT BROTHER BOB

MY HEART

I love Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul and strength.  He is my passion, and I desire that everything I do is an expression of that love. His heart is broken over every life that is still in spiritual darkness and lost. May my heart be as His. I reverence the Holy Bible as God’s divine communication to the human race. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he died, rose again and ascended into heaven. Only through believing in Him can we have His resurrected spirit living in us. This is the secret to life after death. All believers of every race are my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I give my life to serve you so that you may experience the full freedom that Christ has purchased for us. I yearn for every one of you to experience the intimacy of relationship that our heavenly Father desires. From the moment of rebirth till death determines our eternal position in Christ. My prayer is that you may know Christ, fulfill your divine destiny in this life, die well, and receive a rich welcome into His eternal kingdom.

MY STORY

I came to faith in Jesus Christ at 5 years old and as a teenager I started preaching in country churches, local beaches and street meetings. This led to the opening of a coffee house in the early 70′s during the Jesus movement.

After being a program director with YFC, my wife Karen and I founded In His Service Ministries in 1983. IHS proved to be a launching pad that enabled me to lead short-term mission trips to the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. It was also during this time that we began broadcasting our first radio program from a station on the island of Malta.

I also traveled through out Canada and the United States conducting seminars on Lifestyle Witnessing and a School of Prayer. During the summers as a family we lead dramatic evangelistic events at camps and various outreaches including the Canadian Parliament.

I became involved in leading one of the Canada’s first prayer marches in Hamilton, Ontario in 1988. This led to the networking of churches together in prayer during the 1990′s in Calgary and Edmonton while serving as a pastor in those cities.

During the recent years we built a prayer center, (The Meetingplace) and re-entered radio and television broadcasting.
